Road Crews
Road Crews
Road crews are responsible for the operation of scheduled, helper and extra train movements. Usually one individual acts as the entire train crew. He also acts as the station agent when his train passes an open station, simulates dropping a register ticket and communicates an ‘OS’ to the dispatcher (or his agent) when required.
Road crews can be assigned any class or type of train as required for timely operation of the railroad. Instructions for crews on individual train tasks are available. A current timetable is required for all train crews.
